The NordicTrack S22i bike allows you to get a great cycling workout in the comfort of your own home. The included a 1-year NordicTrack iFit membership allows you to stream live and on-demand fitness classes. You can try something new every single day with high-energy studio rides to global cycling experiences to cross-training. With NordicTrack's integrated Google Maps workout technology, you can bike anywhere in the world. Stay plugged in on your progress with in-depth, personalized workout stats, and one membership allows you to create up to four riding profiles so the whole family can enjoy.

Everyone is excited about the Peloton, which they should be, it is a great bike!  But the cost to own a Peloton vs a NordicTrack is one of the key differences.  Over the life of the bike the cost is much lower if you go with the NordicTrack!  First of all you get the first year's subscription included in the price.  Secondly, the actually monthly cost is $39/month for Peloton and only $15/month with NordicTrack!  That's almost $800 saved over the first 2 years of owning the bike!  NordicTrack also offers a 10-year frame warranty, 2-year parts warranty, and 1-year labor warranty.  (Peloton only provides a 5-year frame warranty and 1-year parts and labor warranty.)  Also, if the need does arise, NordicTrack repairs traditionally are much quicker than Peloton's.

The one drawback to the NordicTrack would be the setup.  You will have to assemble it once it is delivered whereas the Peloton comes fully assembled.  This is a huge bummer, but for the cost savings, you can afford the 12-pack to have a friend come over and help you put it together!

For the workouts, they are very similar, but totally different at the same time.  For the NordicTrack workouts you are at the mercy of your workout and you can't alter the settings for that workout.  In my opinion that is a great thing to keep you going and kick your butt (but if you want an easy workout it might not be favorable).  In addition, the workouts aren't live like the Peloton workouts would be.  Not really a deal-breaker if you ask me, but worth noting.

Some other comparisons worth noting:
  • The NordicTrack comes with a swivel screen, Peloton doesn't
  • The NordicTrack has a 350 Lbs weight limit, Peloton tops out at 305 Lbs
  • The NordicTrack has an HDMI Port if you want to put your workout on another screen
You really can't miss with either bike, but the NordicTrack Commercial S22i Studio Cycle is the best bang for your buck.  You will get the premium spin classes, the chance to bike anywhere in the world, and the first year of iFit free, and you'll continue to save every month on the membership fees.  And, if you join Amazon Business for free, you can save $100 on the purchase price!
